HESTIA
...was the Greek Goddess of Hearth & Home. She was not viewed as having a literal form, but as being "a presence". (reminds me of the holy spirit) She was seen as ruling over the hearth and the fire within the hearth.

The Realm of Hestia Hospitality & Houshold Harmony (Warmth)
Conception (The Flame of Passion)
Divination & Illumination (Light)

Quartz is the ruling stone of Hestia

Neith - "The Ancient Goddess of the Beginning, the Beyond, & the End" An Egyptian Goddess whose insignia is a shield with crossed arrows, her title kind of reminds me of the Biblical Alpha & Omega title. She was a creator Goddess who brought forth the sun and was the mother of all of the gods. She is the energy that causes creation and is a goddess of wisdom & of war (preceding the greek Athena) She is cherished for her wise council and ability to arbitrate difficult situations.
Neith gave humans the gift of bandages and shrouds. Seemingly to protect humans from death and in death. The need for both happen in war and in peace.
Neith is described as "The Opener of the Ways" and as such can be called on when seeking direction.

Modern Day Goddesses Although my experience of religion was that it was male dominated, it always seemed to me that women were the ones reading the Bible, teaching Sunday School, taking the kids to church, teaching the beliefs to their children, throwing bridal and baby showers, nursing the sick, & preparing food for and offering comfort at funerals. The men talked about spirituality, but the women were true goddesses, bringing spirituality to life and living it fully.
